Familiar Faces

Now, normally I do my best to never reuse characters. I only have one other time and I was purposefully doing a round up of my favorite prior additions... and was a way to get past my lack of ideas! But, I had a very good reason for including these two again.

Now, as some of you may know, Beetlejuice has two very distinct versions, it's what I refer to as the WarioWare complex... though actually Beetlejuice came about way before WarioWare, so it's probably more accurate to say that Wario has Beetlejuice complex.

Regardless, what I mean by this is that the spin off version of both characters are simply them in name and appearance only. Despite originating as a villain, the cartoon adaptation of Beetlejuice is little more then a disgusting foil. He's an unintentional trouble maker, but has the best intentions. It is honestly my opinion that both versions of this character are NOT the same person. The villainous version from the movie is Betelgeuse, while the one from the show is Beetlejuice. Familiar face, similar name, but totally different.

This can also be said of Wario in the WarioWare games. While normally the antithesis of Super Mario, in these games, Wario also is a good, if not gross good guy, maybe a bit of a shyster, but nowhere close to evil like his true origin. I also have the theory that the normal Wario is Mario fro ma parallel universe, and the biker look for Wario is from the same dimension as Mario, he just very unfortunately looks like Wario... THAT, or he exists in a possible split off time line, in which case he never knew Waluigi, thus he actually made something of himself and has friends!

In any case, I really couldn't bring myself NOT to add Beetlejuice and he's such an iconic character and his cartoon version is such a good example of a good monster character. Wario was really just the icing on the nasty cake for this and I figured the two of them would definitely party. So why not!?
