#22: NiGHTS - NiGHTS into Dream/Journey of Dreams
So this one miiiight seem like a stretch but NiGHTS really does have very valid reasons for being included in this. Hear me out! The dude is a literal, living nightmare who actively opposes his creator and fellow nightmares and works to give good dreams to children! Sure, I took open liberties with his design here but you gotta give it to me, being a sentient nightmare that fights other nightmares is pretty on par with others on this list and the way I see it, if there can be a Christmas NiGHTS there can be a Halloween NiGHTS too! Sure, this may have been just an excuse to draw a Halloween themed outfit for NiGHTS in the vain of his Christmas one which I've dabbled with for awhile but at least I made up a valid excuse! ...maybe, but I mean after involving NiGHTS characters prior in my countdowns it only seems fair to include him in this one chance he's gonna get!
